| abstract |
The invention relates to the manufacture of cellulose. This is a process for producing a mechanically disassembled redispersible cellulose and the composition of that cellulose, and the resulting product, called micro-sized cellulose (MDC). This process is characterized in that the MDC is dried in the presence of a dispersing agent. The product is characterized by a sedimentation volume of more than 50%, determined on the basis of a suspension in water at 1% by weight after twenty-four hours, and by a water retention value of more than 350%. Main application: ingredients in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. |
