titleOfInvention | PEPTIDE REAGENT FOR DETECTING PRIMARY INFECTION WITH EPSTEIN-BARR VIRUS BY SEARCHING CORRESPONDING ANTIBODIES, AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME |
abstract | Use as a peptide reagent for detecting the existence or absence of a primary infection with the Epstein-Barr virus in a subject, by research, according to a method known per se based on the formation of at least a complex of the antigen-antibody type, in a biological sample taken from said subject, of IgM antibodies recognizing said reagent. This reagent contains a peptide recognized by at least one antibody directed against the peptide, the sequence of which is represented by formula (II): Leu Glu Ile Lys Arg Tyr Lys Asn Arg Val Ala Ser Arg Lys Cys Arg Ala Lys Phe Lys Gln. This reagent makes it possible to detect such a primary infection very early. |
