STABILIZATION OF RADIOMARKED COMPOUNDS |
abstract |
This invention relates to a composition comprising a radioactive labeled compound, subject to radiolytic self-decomposition during storage and transport, and vitamin B12. The latter colors the solution red (more visible during handling) and stabilizes the solution radiochemically, allowing transport at room temperature (less expensive than in dry ice) and storage at 4 deg.C (more practical than freezing the solution). |
