OVOGLYCOPROTEIN AND AGENTS FOR CHROMATOGRAPHIC SEPARATION COMPRISING THE SAME |
abstract |
Ovoglycoprotein and chromatography resolving agent comprising said ovoglycoprotein. This ovoglycoprotein has a molecular weight of 30,000, an amino acid sequence of 15 residues from the N-terminus represented by TES-PX-SAPLVPADMD (where X represents a cysteine residue or an amino acid residue to which is linked with a carbohydrate chain) and a carbohydrate content of about 25% and is devoid of trypsin inhibitory activity. This chromatography resolving agent comprises a support and the ovoglycoprotein described above linked to this support. This optical isomer resolver is stable and very resistant to deterioration by organic solvents. It has excellent rheological properties and enables high sample loading frequency and efficient resolution of optical isomers of a chiral compound. |
