abstract |
The invention relates to a contamination monitoring probe comprising an angled detection head (8) for detecting alpha, beta or gamma particles on surfaces of complex shapes and difficult to access. This detection head comprises: - a scintillator emitting photons for each particle detected, - a photomultiplier (3) having a receiving face (3a) perpendicular to the scintillator and capable of receiving photons, and - a reflecting surface (17) capable of direct the photons emitted by the scintillator (10) towards the receiving face (3a). Application to contamination control. |
