abstract |
According to the process of the invention, one begins by forming a metallic film of aluminum or aluminum alloy on the surface of an insulating film on a substrate, then this metal film is dry etched and apply a pattern trace using a chlorine-based gas to form a metallic wiring pattern and finally the substrate with the metallic wiring pattern is heated under vacuum to release the chlorine which is attached to the pattern metal wiring. This improves the corrosion protection of the wiring pattern. |
