abstract | A method for enhancing the effectiveness of an agricultural chemical is provided. The method comprises applying at least one compound represented by the following formula (I) in association with the agricultural chemical to a site likely to benefit from such treatment: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) where R1 represents a group linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl having 5 to 29 carbon atoms; R2 and R3 each independently represent H or CH3; R4 and R5 each independently represent H, a group of the formula: -C (O) R6 where R6 is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group having 1 to 29 carbon atoms, or a group of the formula: -CH2 COOX where X is H, Na, K, an ammonium group or an organic ammonium group; m is a number from 0 to 30; and n is a number from 1 to 30. The compound of formula (I) can be used in conjunction with a chelating agent and a surfactant. Field of application: agropharmaceuticals. |
