It is proposed a field emission type fluorescent display device capable of producing a luminous display with greater reliability at an anode voltage ranging from 200 to 1000 volts and providing a desired light color by means of a filter . The fluorescent display device comprises a light display section (20) consisting of three display elements (12, 13, 14). The display elements comprise red, green and blue color filters on which light-permeable anode conductors are respectively deposited. Then, the anode conductors respectively have phosphors (R, V, B) having the same colors as the filters deposited therein. The blue phosphor is made of ZnO: Zn, essentially containing a blue color component. |
