The invention relates to the use of an organic or hydro-organic extract of Poria cocos Wolf mushrooms, for the preparation of a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition, in particular dermatological, for the treatment of acne and oily skin. In the context of this use, the preferred concentration of extract of Poria cocos is between 0.001 and 5% by weight relative to the total weight of the final composition.
