Matrix-type microparticles containing at least one biocidal agent, process for their preparation and manufactured products containing them |
abstract |
A subject of the present invention is matrix-type microparticles which contain at least one biocidal agent, a process for their preparation and manufactured products containing it. Said biocidal agent (s) is (are) a compound (s) which has (s) a solubility in water at room temperature of less than 500 mg / l and which is (are) active at low concentrations, and the matrix within which is (are) dispersed the said biocidal agent (s) is (s) based on a or more fusible hydrophobic constituent (s), selected to give said microparticles little sensitivity to pH and organic solvents as well as stability up to temperatures of the order of 95-120 ° C and to allow the controlled release of said biocidal agent (s) in the presence of water or humidity. Such microparticles are in particular intended to be incorporated into manufactured products such as shoe soles, sponges, sealants, etc. in order to deliver therein in a controlled manner the agent or the biocidal agents which they contain. |
