abstract The invention relates to an electroluminescent flat screen which combines an electroluminescent material, emitting in the blue with, on the one hand, a photoluminescent material emitting in the red, on the other hand a photoluminescent material emitting in the green, the emission of red colors and green being generated by the absorption in the blue of said photoluminescent materials. The screen according to the invention comprises a layer of electroluminescent material on which are alternately distributed pads of photoluminescent material in the red, pads of photoluminescent material in the green, and voids equivalent to pads emitting in the blue. Such a screen design makes it easier to achieve, by avoiding many masking and etching steps currently required in electroluminescent screens.
