titleOfInvention Metal cover with easy cover, for vacuum sealing, buckets and other packaging for canned food and its manufacturing process.
abstract The cover consists of a metal cap made of tinned sheet or aluminum, comprising a circular panel (1), provided with a descending edge (2) and having, on its internal periphery, a circular chute carrying a fence lining ( 3) a resinous material. The cover has a circular depression (4), in which there is an orifice (6). This orifice is closed, at its lower part by a membrane (10) made of resinous compound, and on its upper surface by a block of resinous material which is connected with the membrane through the orifice (6), to form together a tear-off seal (5), on the region of the depression (4). The resinous material is applied in liquid state and melted in the region of the depression (4), so as to enter the orifice (6), where it bonds, forming a rod (11), to the membrane ( 10). The adhesion and solidification of the resinous material is achieved by vulcanization.
