abstract The subject of the invention is compounds of general formula: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) in which: X represents O, S (O) n, n being 0, 1 or 2, or CHR, R1, R2, R3, R4, identical or different, represent a hydrogen atom, or a C1 -C7 alkyl group, R1 possibly also forming a bond with R; R5 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, or R5 taken together with R7 forms a bond or a group (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) R6 represents a group of formula: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) in which R1 0 and R1 1 taken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form a nitrogenous heterocyclic group, together with their N-oxides and pharmaceutically acceptable salts. These compounds are potent potassium channel activators.
