Disclosed is a closed cell EVA foam consisting of 100 parts of EVA, 1 to 5 parts of azodicarbonamide, 3 to 10 parts of zinc oxide, 1 to 5 parts of zinc stearate, 1 to 3 parts. parts of stearic acid, 15 to 25 parts of electroconductive carbon black and 0.6 to 1 part of a peroxide-type crosslinking agent (all of these amounts are parts by weight), as well as a method of making this foam. According to this process, the components are stirred in a brewing machine, the resulting mixture is homogenized in a mixer, from where it comes out being driven by the rollers of a calender, then it is cut into several sheets. These sheets are hardened in a hardening machine, under the action of a hydraulic press. What characterizes these sheets is that they have a volume resistivity not exceeding 50 kOMEGA.cm. |
