The invention relates to a process for obtaining phosphocalcic hydroxyapatite (PAH). This process consists of mixing, in powder form, a monocalcium phosphate (MCP), a tricalcium phosphate (TCP) and a tetracalcium phosphate (TTCP), and reacting the mixture with water in the presence of a soluble glycerophosphate in water, especially sodium glycerophosphate (NaGP). The method of the invention makes it possible to obtain a stoichiometric or quasi stoichiometric hydroxyapatite, with modular setting times compatible with surgical use, in filling in particular. |
