abstract - Device for storage and treatment of urban waste, characterized: in that it comprises in combination, a shredding device (23) or crushing waste intended to bring this waste in the form of elements of small particle size, towards a conveyor belt (25) feeding at the head an eddy current sorting device provided by permanent magnets, arranged in a rotor connected to high-speed drive means, so as to generate metallic particles, whether ferrous or not an eddy current inducing a secondary magnetic field reacting with the magnetic field of the rotor and thus causing different trajectories depending on the nature of the materials.
