titleOfInvention Magnetic separator with superconduction in particular for reprocessing of a nuclear fuel and method of implementation.
abstract A superconductive magnetic separator comprising a magnetic filter (32a, 32b) filled with a filter material (30), a superconductive electromagnet (34) disposed at the periphery of the magnetic filter, and a magnetic superconductive screen (36) arranged so as to be introduced into and removed from the space between the magnetic filter (32a, 32b) and the superconductive electromagnet (34). When the magnetic screen (36) is removed from the space, a liquid to be treated is passed through the magnetic filter (32a, 32b) and, the fine particles in the liquid adhere to the magnetic filters (32a, 32b). When the magnetic screen (36) is introduced into the space, a washing liquid is made to flow to remove fine particles adhering to the magnetic filters (32a, 32b) by regenerating the filter by this means.
