titleOfInvention IMPROVED LIQUID PHASE FLUORATION PROCESS AND RESULTING ORGANIC FLUORIN PRODUCTS.
abstract The present invention relates to an improved process for fluorination in the liquid phase, in the presence of a catalyst and to an installation for implementing this process. The process consists of the reaction, in a reaction zone, of hydrofluoric acid and an organic raw material, of the separation, in a separation zone, of the reaction mixture into at least one light fraction, containing the organic products. fluorinated products and at least a first part of the sub-fluorinated organic products formed, and a heavy fraction comprising, among others, the rest of the sub-fluorinated organic products formed. It is characterized in that said heavy fraction, collected at the bottom of the separation zone, comprising, among other things, the remainder of the underfluorinated organic products formed, furthermore contains a part of the entrained catalyst and in that a withdrawal intermediate is carried out at the foot, or near the foot of said separation zone at a level corresponding at least to a theoretical plateau above the level of the shrinkage at the foot and at least to a theoretical plateau below the supply level as a reaction mixture of said separation zone.
