| abstract |
A diaphragm carburetor for a gasoline engine, in particular a two-stroke engine, comprises a venturi into which, in the direction of flow, a main jet orifice opens out in front of a throttle valve and behind the throttle valve an orifice with idle jet. These orifices communicate with a regulator space (13) to which fuel flows through a supply channel (19) in which is mounted an intake valve movable in the opening direction, via a regulator lever ( 31), by a regulatory membrane (14). In order that the inlet valve does not open in the event of transverse accelerations, the shutter member (42) of the valve has a flat sealing area (49) to which is associated on the valve seat (44) an area sealing (48) parallel to the area (49). |
