FUEL COMPOSITION FOR SPARK IGNITION ENGINE. |
abstract |
The subject of the invention is a fuel composition for a spark ignition engine. The composition according to the invention comprises: (1) gasoline for a spark ignition engine and (2) an oxygenated organic compound which contains both in its molecule (a) a triple bond or a double bond and (b) a oxygen atom. The fuel composition of the invention makes it possible in particular to optimize the ignition advance and to improve the speed of propagation of the flame in a wide range of fuel / air ratios, the power of the engine regardless of the operating conditions. and the ability to ignite without metallic constituents with a lean or rich mixture and to reduce cycle fluctuations due to variations in the mixture, thereby lowering fluctuations in the indicated average effective pressure, maximum cylinder pressure, etc. regardless of variations in the mixing ratio. |
