abstract A mixing silo consists of a silo tank (1) with a conical bottom (1a) ending in a central outlet (3) of the tank. The silo contains a hopper (7) whose longitudinal axis coincides with the central axis of the silo tank, and whose interior space is divided, by sheet metal segments (8) extending from the peripheral wall of the silo. the hopper to the longitudinal axis of the hopper, in several chambers (9a to 9n) succeeding one another in the peripheral direction, so that respectively adjacent chambers have inlet and / or outlet cross sections of different sizes. Application to a mixing silo operating by gravity only or with recirculation in order to obtain, using simple means, very good homogenization.
