The invention relates to a process, a reagent, its variants, and their applications for desulfurizing biogas "in situ", for the removal and / or extraction of H2S and incidentally of organic molecules containing -SH groups, and for the elimination of their odors and corrosion problems in anaerobic digesters, aerobic treatment plants, fermenters, biochemical reactors and in all the environments producing these molecules. The reagent consists mainly of a mixture of iron hydroxide (Fe (OH) 3) and calcium oxide (CaO). A variety of reagent variants can be produced. The method consists in directly introducing the reagent into the reaction medium or into the materials to be treated. |
