titleOfInvention ROAD JOINT, ESPECIALLY FOR BRIDGES, AND ITS FIXING METHOD.
abstract The invention relates to a structural expansion joint model, the fastening system of which combines the adhesion properties of a resinous mortar with anchors in the concrete deck. The gasket consists of metal profiles (1) between which an elastomer profile (10) is inserted. Connectors made up of plates (2) and bars (3) are attached to the profiles (1). Anchors (5) sealed in the apron provide additional security for fixing the connectors, via parts (4) and (6). The assembly is embedded in an epoxy-pitch resin mortar having excellent properties of flexibility and adhesion to the support. This device is particularly intended for expansion joints in road bridges.
