The process for improving the organoleptic qualities, in particular the odor, palatability and tenderness, of non-castrated male domestic animals, comprises, shortly before the slaughter of the animal concerned, the suppression of the action of androgenic steroids and non-androgenic, by active or passive anti-LHRH immunoneutralization, while maintaining practically until slaughter the advantages linked to the male character of the animal. |
