In this device for manufacturing insulators with a central core having end parts (5a, 5b), and comprising a base structure (6), clamping means (7) pressing against the part (5a), clamping (8) applying against part (5b), two halves (9a, 9b) of a forming mold, sliding on the structure (6) and movable between an open position and a closed position by defining a cavity of filling (9c) around the core (3), there are provided injection means (10) introducing an elastomeric material into the cavity (9c) and comprising passages (12) bringing the elastomeric material onto the central core. Application in particular to insulators supporting overhead power lines on pylons. |
