abstract | Bis-cyclotriveratrylene of general formula (I): (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) in which the carbon-oxygen bonds on each of the aromatic rings are each in para of one of the methylene groups attached to this ring, n and p are each independently each other an integer from 1 to 6, m is an integer equal to 1 or 2 and the sum t equal to n + m + p is an integer from 3 to 8, X represents an atom d 'hydrogen, a halogen atom or a hydroxyl group, each of the groups R independently represents a hydrogen atom or a group of the general formula - (CH2) yZ in which y is an integer equal to 1 or 2 and Z represents a carboxy, alkyloxycarbonyl, carbamoyl, N-alkylcarbamoyl, amino, N-alkylamino radical and the salts of compounds in which R represents hydrogen or a group of general formula - (CH2) yZ in which Z represents a carboxy or carbamoyl radical, N-alkylcarbamoyl, amino or N-alkylamino. These compounds are obtained from those having the same general formula in which R represents a methyl group. They can be used for the separation of isomeric structural or constitutional hydrocarbons. |
