The invention relates to a process for the preparation of homopolymers of conjugated dienes and of copolymers of conjugated dienes with other dienes or with vinyl aromatic compounds, by which the monomers are polymerized using a complex catalyst composition. According to the invention, the composition comprises at the base an organomagnesium compound, an organoaluminum compound and an organic phosphorus compound P (V) or P (III) of the metals barium, strontium or calcium; this makes it possible to produce homopolymers of 1,3-butadiene and copolymers of butadiene-styrene in a random manner, with a high content of 1,4-trans addition, greater than 70% and vinyl addition less than 5%. The invention applies in particular to the chemical industry. |
