abstract The invention relates to a corneal protector based on a cellulose derivative. According to the invention, it contains, as cellulose derivative, Tylose and it consists of a 0.7-0.8% solution of dispersed Tylose, having a globule size not exceeding 0.4 µm. , in a mixture of a 0.85% aqueous solution of sodium chloride and a buffer solution at pH = 7.2-7.4. The invention applies in particular to ophthalmia.
