abstract The invention relates to a novel organic derivative of a metal. This organic metal derivative is characterized in that it consists of a derivative of a metal preferably of valence at least equal to 3, with an organic compound comprising a phospholipid conferring water solubility or hydromiscibility on the organic derivative of said metal. Advantageously, this phospholipid comprising at least one unsaturated fatty acid of the alpha-linolenic or gamma-linolenic acid type. The organic metal derivatives according to the invention constitute valuable biomediating agents and as such constitute active principles of pharmaceutical compositions having various activities and in particular an immunomodulatory activity.
