abstract The invention relates to a method for controlling the output signal of a CCD charge coupled photosensitive element camera. According to the invention, the jumps in the level of the video signal in such a camera, following a switching of the integration time, are corrected by a variable gain amplifier 6 controlled by the integration time management unit 4 which controls this switching of the integration time. Application, in any CCD camera, in particular industrial cameras, to the regularization of the video signal.
