abstract The invention relates to a novelty article. It relates to a novelty article which comprises, at the bottom of a pot-shaped container (12), a first capsule (21) which can expand longitudinally when wet. A second capsule (31) is placed above a side retainer (15) which has a central hole through which a sleeve (25) passes. Rods (22, 27) are integral with the lower capsule and the upper capsule respectively and, when the capsules elongate, the rods and the sleeve form a telescopic support which gives a certain rigidity to the material formed by the expanded capsules.
