abstract The present invention relates, as new industrial products, to the benzopyran-2-one-beta-Dthioxylosides compounds of formula: (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) in which: - X represents a sulfur atom or an oxygen atom, - R1 and R2, identical or different, each represent a hydrogen atom, a C1 -C4 alkyl group, a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group, a phenyl group, R1 and R2, considered together, which can form with the benzopyran group. 2-one to which they are linked, a dibenzo [b, d] pyran-6-one group; and, - Y represents the hydrogen atom or an aliphatic acyl group. These compounds are useful in therapy, in particular as venous antithrombotic agents.
