COMPOSITION RESULTING FROM THE BINDING OF AN EPITOPE B OF THE ENVELOPE GLYCOPROTEIN OF A TYPE IV RETROVIRUS AND A T-EPITOPE HAVING A DISTINCT PROTEIN ENCODED BY THIS RETROVIRUS AND THEIR APPLICATION TO THE PRODUCTION OF PROTECTIVE ANTIBODIES AGAINST AIDS |
abstract |
The invention relates to a composition bringing together, in particular in the form of at least one hybrid molecule, or within it, at least one immunogenic peptide containing a B epitope derived from the env glycoprotein of a pathogenic IV retrovirus of an HTLVI or HTLVII virus, and at least one T epitope derived from a protein different from the env glycoprotein of the same IV, HTLVI or HTLVII or from a corresponding protein of a separate IV, HTLVI or HTLVII. It also relates to vaccine compositions comprising these hybrid molecules. It also relates to recombinant DNAs and RNAs encoding these molecules as well as for the T and B epitopes. |
