abstract | The subject of the invention is processes for preparing biological molecules, in particular enzymes, from sludge taken from a wastewater treatment plant. A process according to the invention comprises the following steps: the sludge is diluted, if necessary, to obtain a dry matter concentration of the order of 3 to 4%. The flakes are dissociated by adding to the solution a denaturing agent, preferably an octoxynol in concentration by weight of the order of 0.4%, the solid phase is removed for example by centrifugation, optionally a tangential micro-filtration is carried out on membranes having a breaking capacity of between 0.1 mum and 0.45 mum and ultrafiltration of the filtrate is carried out on membranes having a breaking capacity of between 3,000 and 100,000 daltons. One application is the preparation of solutions rich in enzymes. |
