abstract The bitumen / polymer composition contains a bitumen and, by weight of the bitumen, 0.5 to 15% of a polymer, 0.05 to 10% of an adhesiphore component of the amine, amide or imidazoline type and optionally 1 to 30% a fluxing agent, the adhesiphore component being grafted to the polymer present in the composition. This composition is obtained by bringing the aforementioned ingredients into contact, at a temperature between 100 degree (s) C and 230 degree (s) C and with stirring, in the presence of a coupling agent providing free elemental or radical sulfur. . Application of the composition to the production of coatings such as road surface coatings, asphalt or waterproofing coatings.
