titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR PLACING A CONTINUOUS JOINT IN A PAVEMENT, A CONCRETE SLAB OR THE LIKE, AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING SAME
abstract The device for implementing the method according to the invention comprises a longitudinal blade 3 fixed to the front of the machine and extending to the rear part of the compacting pad 1 under which it is resiliently supported. At the rear end of the blade 3 is articulated a calibration plate 7 intended to smooth the faces of the groove 2a produced by the blade 3. Finally, a guide ramp 8 of the joint 15 is secured to the calibration plate 7 by means of two side cheeks 9a, 9b fixed to this plate and which comprises a sloping section 8b parallel to the inclined edge 7b of the calibration plate. The guide ramp is adjustable in height by a tensioner 14.
