| abstract |
Method for identifying and digitizing the cells contained in milk, characterized in that it consists: in taking a determined quantity of a sample of a milk to be analyzed; in staining the cells present in this sample with a fluorescent dye specific for the DNA contained in the nucleus of said cells; - In passing this colored sample through a capillary tube 13 onto which a stabilized light beam is directed; - Collecting on a sensor at least part of the transmitted light ray, giving a first information, representative of the number of cells which scroll; - to process this information; - and finally, to restore at least one value representative of the quality of the milk analyzed. Application: diagnosis of chronic mastitis in cows. |
