abstract | Use for the preparation of a medicament, intended for the treatment of viral diseases, of a compound of formula: RXY-Statyl1 -Ala-Statyl2 -R 'in which Statyl1 denotes the radical derived from the amino acid statin, namely : (CF DRAWING IN BOPI) and by Statyl2 the radical derived from the same amino acid, whether it is the 3S, 4S isomer or the 3R, 4S isomer; - R denotes a hydrogen atom or an acylating group attached to the terminal amino group of the amino acid X; - X and Y, which are identical or different, denote amino acid residues of L or D configuration when there is a center of asymmetry in the molecule, and optionally protected in their side chain, said amino acids being chosen from the following amino acids : - X: Phenylalanine, Tryptophan, Histidine, Boc-Histidine, Tyrosine, Proline, Isoleucine; - Y: Phenylalanine, Tryptophan, Histidine, Tyrosine, Proline, Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Glycine; - R 'represents OH, O-C1 -C6 alkyl or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Application: treatment of AIDS. |
