titleOfInvention METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING NON-TOXIC GAS GENERATING SOLID COMPOSITION LOADS AND CHARGES THUS OBTAINED
abstract The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing charges for generators of non-toxic cold gases based on alkali or alkaline-earth azide, molybdenum sulphide and sulfur. After shaping, the charges are brought to a temperature of between 120 degree (s) C and 130 degree (s) C for 5 to 20 minutes. After cooling, the charges thus treated exhibit mechanical properties that are much greater than those of charges of an identical nature which have not undergone the heat treatment according to the invention. The fillers according to the invention find their preferred application in gas generators intended for motor vehicle safety.
