titleOfInvention PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING SINGLE-EFFECT NON-REPRODUCIBLE DYES ON TEXTILE MATERIAL OR PAPER
abstract The invention relates to a process for preparing single-acting, non-reproducible dyes on a textile material or paper which comprises passing (preferably feeding) the material continuously through an application zone containing several elements of the invention. 'Loosely arranged applicator elements which contact and can apply a treatment medium to the material in response to the movement of the material, the applicator elements being continuously contacted intermittently with a treatment medium ( preferably a solution containing a dyeing or etching compound) so that the unique non-reproducible effect is produced by the passage of the material under or through the elements on which the medium has been applied.
