abstract | The present invention relates to a process for obtaining a ceric oxide with a large specific surface area. The process of the invention is characterized by the fact that a collodal dispersion of a cerium IV compound is subjected to a solvothermal treatment, in separating the precipitate formed and in calcining it. The ceric oxide obtained has a large specific surface area at high temperature. |
