abstract | A liquid absorbing acidic gaseous compounds having an improved capacity for absorbing CO2, said absorbent liquid comprising one or more tertiary alkanolamines and an activator of CO2 absorption. The activator consists of at least one amino compound corresponding to the formulas Y- (Cn H2 n) -NHR and R1 -NH- (Cn H2 n) -OH, in which Y is a monovalent radical chosen from the group formed by the radicals piperazyls, piperidinyls, furyls, tetrahydrofuryls, thienyls, tetrahydrothienyls and -OR2, R is an R2 radical or a hydrogen atom, R1 denotes a monovalent hydrocarbon radical in C2 to C6, R2 is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical, optionally hydroxylated, in C1 to C6 and n is an integer ranging from 1 to 6. Application of said absorbent liquid to the deacidification of gas containing CO2 and optionally other acidic gaseous compounds, in particular H2 S or / and COS. |
