The complex obtained has an M = N part with M representing the transition metal. It can be used as it is as a radiopharmaceutical or alternatively serve as an intermediate for preparing other radiopharmaceuticals by exchange reaction with a third ligand, a monoclonal antibody or an antibody fragment.
