titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF ZEOLITHS BELONGING TO THE STRUCTURAL FAMILY OF FAUJASITE, PRODUCTS OBTAINED AND THEIR APPLICATION IN ADSORPTION AND CATALYSIS |
abstract | An aluminosilicate gel is prepared containing an ST structuring agent and having a composition suitable for crystallizing into a zeolite of the structural family of faujasite, then said gel is subjected to crystallization to form a zeolite precursor consisting of said zeolite containing the structuring agent ST in its cavities and channels and the zeolite is produced by calcination of said precursor. The structuring agent ST consists of at least one compound chosen from carbon-containing macrocycles and macropolycycles which contain, in the cycle or cycles, heteroatoms chosen from O, N, Si and S and which contain 10 to 24 atoms per cycle. The zeolites obtained have an Si: A1 ratio greater than 1 and may exceed 3 and exhibiting, depending on the nature of ST, a structure of cubic symmetry or of hexagonal symmetry. These zeolites can be used, directly or after cation exchange, as adsorbents or as catalyst components. |
