titleOfInvention | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECALIBRATING CHROMINANCE SALVES OF A COLOR TELEVISION VIDEO SIGNAL |
abstract | This method consists in sampling the video signal, in storing the samples in two memory planes operating in parallel, one for writing, the other for reading and exchanging their roles at the end of a time interval corresponding to the duration of a video line, and in reconstituting the signal over a period of transient time straddling the theoretical start of the chrominance bursts, for the part preceding said theoretical start by replaying immediately preceding samples and for the part following said Theoretical start by re-reading one or more groups of samples chosen from the chrominance burst at the end of a sequence of samples connecting in phase with that following the transient time period. The figure illustrates a memory plane with its random access memory 301 and its prepositionable address counter 305 equipped with a prepositioning loop containing a ROM 306 for starting decoding of address jumps, a ROM 307 for decoding. conditions authorizing address jumps and a read only memory 308 for decoding the destination addresses of the address jumps. |
