titleOfInvention FLAT VIDICON WITH MATRIX READING BY MICROPOINT CATHODES
abstract Flat Vidicon with matrix reading by microtip cathodes. It comprises a reading system 30 of the target 14 composed of an insulating substrate on which are arranged in the two directions of the matrix M conductive columns (cathodes) supporting field effect microtips and above the columns, N conductive lines perforated (grids), rows and columns being separated by an insulating layer provided with openings allowing the passage of the microtips, each crossing of a row and a column corresponding to a pixel of the target 14 of the vidicon. Application to the detection of images in ultraviolet, visible or infrared light.
