abstract |
An adhesive for use between a layer of polypropylene and a layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer is disclosed. The adhesive according to the invention comprises A) 98.9 to 59.9% by weight of a modified polypropylene partially or totally grafted with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, B) 1.0 to 40% by weight of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer having a density of 0.915 to 0.940 g / cm ** 3 and a melting point of 115 to 130 degree (s) C and C) 0.1% by weight or more, but less than 3% by weight, of a synthetic elastomer of the hydrocarbon type. Applications: manufacture of multilayer bottles made of a layer of polypropylene and a layer of ethanol-vinyl alcohol copolymer. |
