titleOfInvention LOCAL NETWORK TESTER WITH CARRIER TEST METHOD AND COLLISION DETECTION (CSMA / CD)
abstract Local area network (RLE, RLS) tester (TESTI) of the carrier test and collision detection (CSMA / CD) access method and bus architecture transmission system (BUS), network (RLE-) type RLS) comprising at least one elementary segment (SE1, ..., SEp) comprising a plurality of stations (S1, S2, ..., Si, ..., Sn). According to the invention, the tester is characterized in that it comprises a transmission and reception circuit (CERI) similar to those of the stations, further including a collision generation device (GENCOLI) which transmits a frame of information as soon as it has received from the encoding and decoding circuit (ENCDECI) associated with the transmission and reception circuit a signal CRS1 - CRS2 indicating the presence of a transmission of a frame by any station other than itself itself, and a transmission order REM from the transmission control circuit, the latter frame being received by the encoding and decoding circuit (ENCDECI). Usable in local networks.
