titleOfInvention | PREPARATION OF PROCONVERTINE CONCENTRATES (FACTOR VII), ANTIHEMOPHILIC FACTOR B (FACTOR IX) AND OTHER PLASMA PROTEINS, AND THEIR THERAPEUTIC USE |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation of plasma derivatives. According to this process, a human cryoprecipitate supernatant is subjected to chromatography on anion exchange resin in the presence of heparin and a filtrate containing antithrombin III, immunoglobulins and albumin is separated and by increasing the ionic strength. of the buffer, four fractions enriched respectively with alpha-1-antitrypsin (AAT), proconvertin (Factor VII), proteins C and S and inhibitory inter-alpha-trypsin, and, finally, antihemophilic factor B (Factor IX). This process makes it possible to obtain, in significant yields, high purity proconvertin and Factor IX concentrates which are perfectly suitable for their therapeutic use. |
