titleOfInvention NON-TOXIC DERIVATIVES OF N-BUTYRIC ACID HAVING DELAYED THERAPEUTIC ACTIONS
abstract The invention describes various forms of non-toxic derivatives of n-butyric acid exhibiting delayed therapeutic actions characterized by covalent bonds, in particular of ester type, of said n-butyric acid with mono- or polyhydroxylated derivatives, substituted or not. . Depending on the nature of the hydroxylated derivatives and the different substituents of n-butyric acid, the derivatives can be multipolar and exhibit variable solubilities in water. The nature of the hydroxylated derivatives and their substituents is chosen such that there is no detectable toxicity and that the concentration of n-butyric acid released in the serum of the experimental rabbits remains at least equal to 0 , 04 mmol / 1 after 48 h, for quantities of ac-butyric equivalent injected 10 times lower than the free forms of butyric acid, which can no longer be dosed 60 min after injection. The invention claims various forms of derivatives of ester, ester-ethers and ester-salts type.
